Bringing along with him nearly 20 years of experience with Co-operatives and Travel. Rich is our link to the regulatory bodies such as ABTA and CAA and offers support to members around the requirements that exist because of ABTA’s Code of Conduct, the Package Travel Regulations, Consumer Rights, Data Protection and PCI-DSS to name a few.
Rich’s role supports the whole Co-op Travel estate and he represents the business on ABTA’s Policy Advisory Group as a voice of the Consortium, Retailer and Tour Operator dealing with lobbying to government and shaping the industry.
As a member of ABTA’s Code of Conduct committee, Rich is ideally placed to ensure that the view of the wide range of businesses which form our consortium is considered when changes are being implemented around how Agents and Tour Operators should work.
